Red Light Running Society
Red Light Running Society (RLRS) aims to bring people together to build and maintain happy, healthy and active lives. ALL FITNESS LEVELS ARE WELCOME - walkers, joggers, runners, etc. Even if you're not able to participate, please join us for espresso (or stronger drinks), treats, music, and nerdy conversations afterwards at RLC!
RLRS meets EVERY SATURDAY starting at 10 AM. PLEASE REVIEW AND SIGN OUR LIABILITY AND MEDIA RELEASE WAIVERS BEFORE PARTICIPATING!
How RLRS Works
10 AM MEETUP / STRETCH »» RLC OPENS up so you can have a coffee, water, what-have-you / do some warmups and / or stretches / change clothes if you need to.
11 AM WALK / JOG / RUN »» RLC CLOSES (locked and secured) so we all can hit Piedmont Park or the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail! Some of us walk, some of us slow jog, and some of us run. We split into multiple groups as needed.
NOON COOLDOWN / STRENGTH »» RLC REOPENS for more coffee, water, what-have-you to "cooldown". We'll also be doing post-cardio strength training for anyone that's interested — some basic "push / pull / legs" type free weight exercises. We have some equipment at the venue, but, bring your own dumbbells if ya got 'em!
